SSO (OAuth/SAML)
It would be cool to have OAuth/SAML integration for a fully integrated experience with other services. Right now importing LDAP users from Emby (what I do) kind of works but is less than ideal.

AdenWouldn't it be easier and more versatile to authenticate via the http header?
Then everyone could authenticate in their preferred proxy in their preferred way.
Then we could also use e.g. Authelia as 2FA and LDAP independent of Plex.

DeimosI completely agree with the above comment. I'm really surprised this isn't one of the first authentication options developers target. It is a straightforward concept to code around. Apps like organizr executed this well. That app demonstrates being able to specify the header to use for authentication such as x-forwarded-for.
