Request items on the behalf of a user

My spouse wants stuff but won't use the app to request it. She finds it easier to just tell me. I'd like to be able to add a request on her (another user's) behalf so that they get notified when it's available and I can remember who actually requested it.

+1, I agree. I get people messaging me instead of logging themselves on, too. Would be great to be able to do this so they get notified when it's up.

Or if you have to re-install Ombi you lose old requests. THis way, you could screenshot/save requests before hand, and re-add them after per which user requested it

I grew tired of getting a bunch of WhatsApp messages every day requesting a pile of stuff that I would then need to manually go to Radarr or Sonarr and trigger the requests on. This is what led me to eventually find Ombi a couple of years back. Since then its been a doddle. If my users don't want to use the app, then they don't get the content. I'm allowed to be lazy because I provide the Plex server. They aren't... In short... tell your users to use it or forget it! :D

Could this also be added to the API, that way I can make a discord bot request them via the user.
